Reeves Batters Shelby HS for 5 Hits Saturday, April 20th, 2024 At Havoc Stadium Jake Reeves was the King of Swing today in the 13-1 win over the Rockets. The Randall HS third baseman stepped into the batter's box 6 times against the Shelby HS and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 6! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Jake Reeves hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Reeves has batted at a .535 pace with 38 hits, 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 26 times. |
