Hanna Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Friday, April 19th, 2024 The Bishop Amat HS whipped the Celtics 19-6 at Vendettas Ballpark and Pat Hanna had a big hand in the win. The Bishop Amat HS catcher came to the plate 6 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Hanna and a tough day for Dublin Jerome HS. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Hanna delivered today -- 5-for-6 is outstanding in any league. Pat Hanna singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Pat Kirby in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
