Bryan Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 It was a parade of hits for Bill Bryan of the Dublin Jerome HS Celtics... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Fresno HS Red Wings for 5 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Celtics to a 8-7 victory. "Bryan was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Red Wings manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Bill Bryan hit a solo-shot off Jason McDonald in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th. So far this season, Bryan has recorded a .358 batting average with 24 hits, 1 home run, 6 RBIs, 17 runs scored and a .421 OBP. |
