NCAA Names Best Player Monday, May 22nd, 2023 Over the past week, John Patterson has feasted on NCAA pitching. Today the Rutgers Scarlet Knights first baseman gobbled up the league's latest Player of the Week Award. Patterson swung the bat with purpose all week as he collected a .615 average, 16 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This year Patterson has collected a .346 batting average to date with 62 hits in 179 at-bats, 29 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 33 times. He has played in 48 games. |
