Bad News for Spartans, Polanco Injured Monday, May 1st, 2023 "I'm frustrated right now," said Michigan State reliever Ramón Polanco. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Spartans, that's where he will be spending 5 months. Polanco suffered a ruptured finger tendon in today's game against Auburn while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." This year Polanco has registered no saves in 5 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark with a 4.70 ERA. In 7.2 innings he has fanned 11. |
