Ed Church Out of Action Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 Boston College fans held their breath as Ed Church left yesterday's Bulldogs-Eagles contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 19-year-old reliever had suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 5 months. This season he has made 13 relief appearances with no saves. In 20.2 innings Church has chalked up 19 strikeouts while posting a 1-1 record and a 7.40 ERA |
