"It was a tough pennant race and I think it took a lot out of the guys emotionally," said starting pitcher Carl Thomas, just after he had a beer poured down his neck from a jubilant teammate. "I think now is a good time to relax and regroup for a little bit, until we have to start focusing again." The task at hand will now be for the franchise to capture its 1st CWS Championship.
