A.J. Wellman out 12 Months With Injury Friday, May 24th, 2024 Texas Tech Red Raiders reliever A.J. Wellman suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a recent game with the UCLA Bruins and will miss 12 months. Wellman told BNN, "I hurt it throwing a pitch. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." For the season Wellman is 2-and-1 with 1 save and a 1.91 ERA. He has given up 21 hits in 37.2 innings with 35 strikeouts. |
