This Week's Star Player is Younger Monday, May 13th, 2024 So far in his young career, Clint Younger has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the NCAA in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Louisiana State Tigers second baseman hit at a torrid .536 clip as he collected 15 hits in 28 at-bats, 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This season Younger is hitting .349 with 16 home runs. |
