Hot Bat Cooled, Horton Hitless Against Bulls Saturday, May 11th, 2024 Jeff Horton's sizzling streak was snapped at 20 today as the Southern California Trojans dropped a game to the South Florida Bulls 8-3 at Dedeaux Field. Horton failed to get a hit and went 0-for-3. After the game Horton spoke with BNN and said, "This was quite a streak. I just ran into some good pitching today." Looking at his present stats, Horton has compiled a .353 batting average in 36 games with a .402 on-base percentage, while hitting 10 home runs and driving in 32 runs. |
