Blue Devils Reliever Lockington Injured Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 Jack Lockington of the Duke Blue Devils was injured in today's game against North Carolina and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a partially torn labrum and he is expected to be out for up to 4 months. It happened while Lockington was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." This year Lockington is 1-and-0 with no saves and a 1.82 ERA. He has given up 19 hits in 24.2 innings with 25 strikeouts. |
