Wilson Socks it to Kansas 3 Times Saturday, April 27th, 2024 John Wilson penned his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against Kansas. He's now among the select sluggers who have hit three home runs in a game. In his record-setting day at Tointon Family Stadium the Kansas State third baseman went 3-for-3 with 7 RBIs and scored 4 times in the 11-3 victory over the Jayhawks. "It was just one of those days," he said in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." "Wilson was locked in," the Kansas skipper said. "We made some pretty good pitches. Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's pretty hot right now. You've just got to tip your hat."
