Edwards Brings Home PIO Batter of Month Honor Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Ron Edwards made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Pioneer League this past month. The Jasper Cougars first baseman shone through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old hit .355 with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Edwards on the season is hitting .336 with 8 home runs. His stats include 76 RBIs and 74 runs scored. |
