Gabriel Oliuo Out for 8 Months Saturday, August 10th, 2024 The Montgomery Grey Sox learned that Gabriel Oliuo is likely to be out for 8 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Pensacola Pilots. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a torn rotator cuff. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Montgomery manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Gabriel is back in action." In 23 starts this season Oliuo has chalked up a 12-4 record and a 3.18 ERA. |
