Thursday, August 1st, 2024
"The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games."
Luke Brown put together a very solid month to take home the Appalachian League's top pitching honor in July.
The 22-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 12 relief appearances he raked in no saves and 36 strikeouts in 35.2 innings as he put together his 5-1 record and 1.01 ERA.
Brown has 2 saves this season with a won-lost record of 11-2 and 2.70 ERA.
