Nashua's Ramírez APL Star of the Week Monday, July 22nd, 2024 A hot-hitting week got Luis Ramírez the Appalachian League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Nashua third baseman slammed them for a .367 average, 11 hits in 30 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 12 runs. In the postgame press conference, Ramírez shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." Currently Ramírez has 6 home runs and a .267 batting average. |
