Cardenas Goes 5-for-7 Against Nashua Monday, June 24th, 2024 20-year-old Athens third baseman Manuel Cardenas had a big day with the bat at Redleg Field today against the Nashua Redlegs. He went 5-for-7 and led the Assassins to a 18-7 triumph over them. Manuel Cardenas singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Hitting .244 to date, Cardenas has 3 home runs and 28 RBIs. He has played in 61 games. |
