Sánchez Wins APL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 16th, 2024 Luis Sánchez went on a week-long hitting streak against Appalachian League pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The Scottsdale first baseman battered the opposition for 14 hits, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs. He hit .583 and posted a .630 on-base percentage. This year Sánchez has hit 9 home runs and posted a .335 batting average. |
