Midwest League Announces Best Starter Thursday, August 1st, 2024 In July, Denny Green tore through the Midwest League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Erie starter posted a 3-1 mark and an ERA of 1.91 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 42.1 innings he collected 61 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .203 average. This season Green has compiled a 7-4 mark, 2.39 ERA and made 23 starts. |
