Penn Wins Best Bat Trophy in June Monday, July 1st, 2024 Leslie Penn is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Minnesota third baseman joined that select company when the Midwest League announced the results of June's voting. Penn totaled 32 hits, 18 walks, 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored last month to put together a .400 batting average and .520 on-base percentage. Penn's current batting average stands at .367 and he has chalked up 5 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
