Week's Top Performer Honored by MSL Monday, May 6th, 2024 21-year-old Kyle O'Day made a few Manhatten headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Midwest League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .476 average. O'Day collected 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 4 runs. This season O'Day is batting .333 with 41 hits, 3 home runs, 18 RBIs, 13 walks, .399 OBP and has scored 20 runs. He has played in 31 games. |
