MSL's Best Pitcher is Mapstone Sunday, October 13th, 2024 He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Reid Mapstone performed like a veteran on the hill for the Lee's Summit Tigers and walked away with the Midwest League Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process. The 22-year-old Tigers star fashioned a 15-4 won-loss record in 2024 with a 1.94 ERA. In 185.1 innings of work and 32 starts, Mapstone struck out 248 while giving up 136 hits and 52 walks. He held opposing batters to a .200 average. Ricardo Marino of the Erie Jaxx finished second in voting, while Matthew Scott of the Lee's Summit Tigers finished third. |
