But Ben Barker did just that today for the 08s and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 21-year-old center fielder said after his record-setting performance. Ben Barker struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jesús Martínez in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. This season Barker is batting .259 with 13 RBIs, 20 runs scored and 1 home run. |
