Lee's Summit's Longoria Injured, Out of Lineup Sunday, September 8th, 2024 The Lee's Summit Tigers will have to make do without Alejandro Longoria for 7 months. He suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Wisconsin Rapids Rangers. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." So far this season, Longoria has logged a 0-0 record with a 2.95 ERA. He has started 0 games, hurled 21.1 innings and registered 17 strikeouts and 13 walks. |
