Springfield First Baseman Picked ESL Player of the Week Monday, August 5th, 2024 Gavin Downey of the Springfield Simpsons had an enormous week at the plate and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Eastern League. For the week Downey batted .429 (12-for-28) with 1 home run and 11 RBIs. So far this season Downey is batting .317 with 16 home runs. |
