He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Kingston Iguanas. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This year Durán has made 0 starts, thrown 18.2 innings, fanned 21 batters and walked 10. His won-lost record is 0-3 with a 5.30 ERA. |
