Week's Premier Player: Wilmington's Brieno Monday, July 1st, 2024 The Eastern League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Juan Brieno, second baseman of the Wilmington Rebels. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .500 pace to win the award. Brieno went 13-for-26 for the week, totaled 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 9 times. This year Brieno has hit at a .293 pace and produced 37 RBIs, 14 home runs and scored 42 runs. |
