BNN Reports Ousting of Penquannock Manager Clark Saturday, November 4th, 2023 The winds of change have hit Penquannock. Many saw the writing on the wall but it still came as sort of a surprise to the sports world when Doug Clark was fired earlier today. The team cited intellectual differences as a contributing factor to the decision but refused to go into details. All that is clear right now is that the hunt is on for a new manager. "Doug just wasn't the right guy for our team and our situation right now," said a team official speaking on condition of anonymity. The Overrated Jeter spokesman indicated that Clark had not been meeting goals set out for him by the team owner. Clark spoke with the press and said, "What's done is done. I'm just looking at my situation going forward, not backward. There's nothing I can change about the situation in Penquannock. I just have to focus on what's to come next in my baseball future." |
