Iguanas Pitching Ravaged by Serrano Thursday, September 19th, 2024 It was high-5 day at Ballpark of Coaling, at least for Juan Serrano of the Buffalo LightSabres. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Kingston Iguanas. Serrano smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his record-setting day, leading his club to a 13-8 win. His manager said, "Juan was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine." Juan Serrano hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 10th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 12th. Serrano is hitting .289 so far this season with 90 RBIs and 93 runs scored. He has 180 hits including 19 home runs, 55 walks and .349 OBP. |
