Eastern League's Best Batter Announced Monday, September 9th, 2024 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Springfield's Rob Grun put up last week were the envy of the league, as Grun came away with Eastern League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run and 9 RBIs last week as he posted his .500 batting average. For the season Grun is batting .292 with 74 hits and 13 home runs. He has scored 46 times and batted in 61. |
