He tore up the Gainesville Guidos to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the Wichita 5-4 win today at The Guido Ghetto. "Taváres was a tough out today," the Gainesville manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
