SNL Batter of the Month Honors to Rivera Sunday, September 1st, 2024 When Arturo Rivera stepped up to the plate in August, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Southern League Batter of the Month award. The young Memphis center fielder posted a .358 batting average with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 19 runs. Rivera also worked pitchers for 8 walks to post a .398 on-base percentage. This year Rivera is hitting .345 with 17 home runs and 93 RBIs in 125 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .401 with 40 walks and 95 runs scored. |
