Campbell Belts 5 Hits Thursday, August 29th, 2024 Billy Campbell did all he could with his bat, but it just wasn't enough for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to pull out a victory. The 27-year-old first baseman rapped out 5 hits in the game, but couldn't overcome the Montgomery Biscuits. The Fisher Cats lost the game 8-7 today at Riverwalk Stadium. Billy Campbell doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. So far this season Campbell has gotten 143 hits in 464 at-bats for a .308 batting average with 17 home runs. His stats include 77 RBIs and 75 runs scored. He has played in 111 games. |
