Domingo Ledesma showed how it's done as he went 5 for 7 against the Memphis Blues and helped the Key West Barracudas beat them 5-4. The manager for the Blues told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Ledesma keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. Domingo Ledesma walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off David Bates in the 6th, singled in the 8th, struck out in the 11th, doubled in the 14th, struck out in the 15th and hit an RBI single in the 17th. This season Ledesma has delivered 15 hits in 47 at-bats for a .319 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .448 clip and his totals also include 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year Ledesma has played in 23 games. |
