Menlo's Lara Down with Injury Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 Whether he wants it or not, António Lara of the Menlo Maniacs will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The starting pitcher was hurt in today's Maniacs-Rams game while throwing a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that Lara had suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out of action for 12 months. In pitching stats this season Lara has rung up 6 wins and 3 losses in 13 games. He has an ERA of 3.93 and has fanned 64 batters in 75.2 innings. |
