Richardson Smacks 5 Hits for Red Bulls Friday, May 17th, 2024 History in the making. That's what the fans at Menlo Park got to see today, when Riverside outplayed the Maniacs 6-5. William Richardson of the Red Bulls came to the plate 5 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Menlo. In the postgame press conference the Menlo skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink." William Richardson singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This year Richardson has hit at a .316 pace and produced 10 RBIs, no home runs and scored 38 runs. |
