Reynold Akker Out for 9-10 Months Thursday, August 15th, 2024 The Mexico City Cerveceros will lose the services of first baseman Reynold Akker after he sustained a torn posterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in today's game against the Houston Hammertime. "I'll get through it," Akker said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 9-10 months. Hitting .286 to date, Akker has 12 home runs and 56 RBIs. He has played in 100 games. |
