Spokane SP Marcos Rivera Injured
Friday, July 12th, 2024
Spokane starting pitcher Marcos Rivera left today's game with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against Mile High. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Trappers without Rivera for about 10-11 months.

This year Rivera has worked 99.1 innings with 94 strikeouts en route to a 7-6 record and a 4.80 ERA.
