PCL's #1 Batter Chosen Sunday, September 1st, 2024 For a rookie just breaking in, Cristo Ontiveros certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PCL Batter of the Month award for August. The 29-year-old left fielder for the Houston Hammertime hit .412 with 6 home runs, 31 RBIs and 37 runs scored. This season Ontiveros has hit at a .327 clip with 89 RBIs, 21 home runs and 115 runs scored. |
