Red-Hot Yagi Scorches Isotopes Monday, August 26th, 2024 The Santa Monica Bruins swept past the Albuquerque Isotopes 18-8 today at Red Hot Stadium and were paced by center fielder Motoshige Yagi. The 30-year-old Yagi got 5 hits in 6 at-bats, helping to send Albuquerque down to defeat. Motoshige Yagi struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. For the season Yagi has hit .368 with 11 home runs and 63 RBIs. He has played in 88 games and scored 42 times. |
