PCL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, August 26th, 2024 The hottest bat of the week belonged to District 9 first baseman Ryan Hensley. He went on a rampage last week against PCL hurlers and rapped out 13 hits in 24 at-bats for a .542 average while hitting 5 home runs, driving in 11 runs and scoring 8 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week trophy. Hensley was honored today at a press conference. In 128 games Hensley is hitting .322 this season with 155 hits, 39 home runs, 124 RBIs, 87 walks, .426 OBP and has scored 105 runs. |
