Pryor Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, July 27th, 2024 The Amarillo Archdukes stopped the Blueville 83's today 5-4 and Chris Pryor was able to hit safely again. The Amarillo left fielder got 1 hit and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. Pryor was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Archdukes fans!" Chris Pryor grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This year Pryor is batting .320 with 127 hits, 15 home runs, 62 RBIs, 79 walks, .433 OBP and has scored 86 runs. |
