Raymos Slaps 5 Hits Monday, July 22nd, 2024 Birmingham catcher David Raymos put on quite a show at Saddlehorn Stadium with a big 5-hit day in the 13-2 victory over the Detroit X-Wings. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 5 for 6.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." David Raymos singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. For the year Raymos is batting .255 with 93 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 36 times and driven in 40. |
