Harvey Bradridge Out of Action
Wednesday, June 19th, 2024
Harvey Bradridge at first refused to leave today's Wisconsin-Cape Cod game after he suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Cape Cod starting pitcher said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Bradridge out of action for 4-5 months.
So far this season, Bradridge has logged a 5-2 record with a 4.37 ERA. He has started 10 games, hurled 70 innings and registered 61 strikeouts and 19 walks.
