Otsego Star Simpson Cops Outstanding Pitcher Award Friday, October 18th, 2024 The 2024 International League Outstanding Pitcher Award has gone to Otsego Bulldogs ace Derek Simpson after a stellar 14-2 season. In 29 starts he piled up 178 innings, 159 strikeouts, 56 walks and a 3.34 ERA. Simpson held opposing hitters to a .240 batting average. Edward Baker of the Allentown Hillbillies finished second in voting, while Tom Miller of the Cape Cod Clams finished third. |
