ITL's Star Player Named Monday, September 9th, 2024 It was some kind of week for Enrique Cortéz of the Havana Rollers. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .500 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the International League. Last week Cortéz went 13-for-26, chalked up 6 home runs and 13 RBIs and scored 12 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. During the current season Cortéz is batting at a .321 clip with 24 home runs and 82 RBIs. He has played in 99 games and scored 87 times. |
