D-Bags, Rocks Close Deal Sunday, July 28th, 2024 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the D-Bags and Rocks have consummated a trade. Plymouth will receive 24-year-old minor league SS José Flores, 20-year-old minor league RHP Sloan Numbers, 27-year-old minor league 1B António Enríquez and 22-year-old minor league LHP Enrico Lozano in a swap for 27-year-old SS Millard Boyd and 24-year-old minor league RF Robert Phillips. A league analyst called the trade a "pretty even transaction." So far this season Phillips is batting .299 with 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 47 hits in 157 at-bats, 14 walks and a .364 OBP. Phillips has played in 47 games. |
