400 Home Runs for Rivas Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024 Swinging his way into the record books, Germán Rivas reached the 400 homer mark today at Bay View Park against the Birmingham Steeldogs. He went 1-for-2 with 1 run batted in and 1 run on the day, although San Francisco would go down to defeat 4-3. "It was a distraction," Rivas said of his 400th home run, "I'm happy it's over. I just wish I'd been able to make a difference in the outcome today." Rivas has played in 1956 games and is hitting .302 lifetime with 1342 RBIs, 2225 hits, 446 doubles, 42 triples and 400 home runs. He has scored 1301 times and stolen 367 bases. |
