Baffin Island-Nassau Announce Swap Monday, December 23rd, 2024 Trade winds have been blowing through Baffin Island. This time, a deal has materialized between the Beavers and Rockets. According to sources inside the organization, Baffin Island will ship 21-year-old minor league C Dave Gordon and 21-year-old minor league SS Juan Romero to Nassau for 29-year-old RF Felipe Rivera. A check of his lifetime stats shows Rivera has played in 459 games with a .267 batting average. Among his 409 hits are 69 home runs. He also has scored 235 runs and driven in 237 runs. |
