Baffin Island Beavers Ship García to Hendersonville Friday, November 29th, 2024 Officials for Baffin Island confirmed that they have traded 28-year-old RF Mario García and 29-year-old RF José García to the Hendersonville Hitmen. In return, the Beavers will receive 28-year-old 1B Lorenzo Villa. García has compiled a career batting average of .297 with 1157 hits, 153 homers and 584 RBIs. In his career Villa has played in 1126 games with a .303 batting average. Among his 1356 hits are 240 doubles, 13 triples, and 251 home runs. He also has scored 685 runs, walked 435 times, has 7 stolen bases and driven in 813 runs. |
